Actress Hend Sabry explained that what her recent movie “Asmaa” displayed was in reality taken from a real life story of a woman who was diagnosed with HIV positive, and in reality what this lady went through because of her diseases was much worse than what was conveyed through the movie. The film makers were intentionally minimizing the dramatic effects of the movie so the audience will not enter a state of depression leading them away from the original message of the movie. In an interview with the magazine “For Her “ or “Laha” Hend expressed her respect and admiration to actress Ghada Abdel Razek after the later nominated her for the role of “Shagaret El Dorr”.Hend Sabry also revealed her desire to work alongside Menna Shalaby especially after going through that experience in “The Best Times”, “Girls from Downtown” and “Weeja”. She also added that she feels there is continuous comparison between them because they both belong to the same generation.
