Converting the biography of Khaled Barry into a movie.

Khaled Barry is currently writing a new script, inspired by his biography that was published a couple of years back, in a book that was published by “Dar Miret for publishing” called “Life is more beautiful than heaven”. The book was a controversial success to the point that the AUC (American University in Cairo) sponsored the translation of the book to English and many other languages. The real importance of Barry’s book here is the fact that it is considered the biography of an Egyptian fundamentalist. Therefore, the biography isn’t much of his own as much as it is a repeated scenario of any fundamentalist within the Islamic group of Muslim brotherhood. Magdi Ahmed Ali will direct the movie, but he is currently waiting for Barry to complete writing the script so he can start choosing the cast. Filming the movie is expected to start by mid next year, if everything else runs smoothly.
