After playing in more than one international festival and winning many awards, the movie “Al Tahrir 2011:The Good, The Bad and the Politician” is going to be released commercially here in Egypt during the fourth tournament of the European Film Panorama which will take place in Cairo between the 23rd and the 29th of November.Their official site on face book announced that the movie will be played twice, the first time on Friday the 25th of November at 6pm in Galaxy Cinema, and the second time also at 6pm on Tuesday 29th of November at City Stars cinema. “Tahrir 2011” is a documentary produced by Film Clinic (Mohamed Hefzy) comprised of the visions of 3 young directors of the events that took place during the 18 days of the Egyptian revolution. The 3 directors are Tamer Ezzat, Iten Amer and Amr Salama. Each one offers a different vision, there is the “good” which is represented through the ordinary Egyptian citizen, the “bad” represented through police force that stood against the people and finally the “politician” which is a psychological and personal analysis of the character of ex president Hosni Mubarak
