Donia Samir Ghanem is impressed with “Cima Ali Baba” and happy with “X Large”

Egyptian actress Donia Samir Ghanem stated that she did not see any of the Eid’s movies except “X Large” which she costars in opposite Ahmed Helmy, and the other movie is “Cima Ali Baba” staring Ahmed Mekki , her success partner, and Amy Samir Ghanem, her sister.Donia is happy that her movie “X Large” made number one in the box office and topped the charts in terms of revenues. In her opinion that was a reward for the cast and crew for their hard work. She adds that working with Helmy gave her a new perspective in terms of her choice of roles for the future, since she wants to maintain that level of success all the time.Donia was also impressed with the movie “Cima Ali Baba” because it offered a new kind of approach in the Egyptian cinema, tackling the sci fi section which was totally neglected in our culture. The actress had called Mekki to congratulate him for his success.It is noteworthy to mention that Donia had worked with Mekki in both his movies “No Retreat No Surrender” and “ You Fly” as well as both parts of the series “El Kebeer Awi” and they made an excellent couple. Whereas the movie “X Large” was Donia’s first time with Helmy and it also was a success, as the revenues reached 17 million Egyptian pounds.
