Latifa apologizes for not singing “Masr El-Ghalya” or “Precious Egypt”

The Tunisian singer Latifa apologized for not recording “Precious Egypt” song as a part of the national music initiative project that was released by the Minister of Media Osama Heikal.Once she heard the words of the song, she welcomed the initiative. Awad Badawi wrote the song and composed by Amjad Aetefy. It was expected that she adds her voice to the song but she surprised everyone with the apology and they had no choice but to offer the song to another singer and has already been accepted by the opera singer Mai Farouk after hearing “Precious Egypt” words.“Precious Egypt” was suppose to be recorded in the Egyptian radio studios but because of the latest protests, Tahrir’s last events and the government resignation that included Osama Heikal Minister of media and the owner of the national music initiative.
