Aida Al-Ayoubi returns with Cairokee in “Yal Medan” video song

A few months ago before deciding to return, Aida Al-Ayoubi disappeared for many years after January revolution to sing “I love you my country” or “Bahebek ya Blady”, and again when the 18th of November revolution began she launched her new song with Cairokee Band “Yal Medan”.The song lyrics was written by Amir Eid and composed by Cairokee Band. Those sensations associated with Tahrir Square, which became by time and meaning their companions home. “We gather to drink tea/we know how to get the right”, which in returns, “Let the world listen/and the neighbors gather”, because “the square talks of right/and says no to unjust”.Aida Al-Ayoubi, who returned to Tahrir Square, went there through the two revolutionary waves in January and November seems well aware of the connected emotions. “Sometimes I’m afraid it will be a memory/to go far away from you … the idea dies/and we forget what happened/and tell you in stories”The video clip that was directed by Mohamed Shaker carries separated scenes for the items that was used by Egyptians in the revolution, state security soldiers armor, tear gas, bottles of yeast, vinegar and onions which the revolutionaries used to neutralize the effect of the tear gas, cartridges and bullets, banners, posters and clothes that had blood of the martyrs or wounded.
