Haifa Wahbi receives the special artist award at BIAF (Beirut International Festival)

Lebanese artist and star Haifa Wahbi received an honorary award last Sunday 27th of November at the BIAF from the committee of the festival. Her award was unique in the sense of being different than any of the other awards received by other nominees. Her opening song was “I want to love you like crazy” or “Bedi Ahebak Hob Gonoon” following that media celebrity Nishan Debraharonian gave a speech that described Haifa as the icon of beauty in Lebanon and the Arab world.The festival nominated many different outstanding individuals in several different scientific and practical areas, as well as politicians and media celebrities in Lebanon and the Arab world, so of which were Syrian legendary actor Sabah Fakhry, Egyptian actress Nabila Ebaid, Lebanese actor Abdel Meguid Magthoob, Legendary Egyptian actor Mahmoud Yassin, singers Samira Saeed and Assi El Helani. As well as Lebanese artist Abdel Rahman El Basha and the first astronaut the Russian Alexi Leonof and Miss America Reema Fakih.
