Filming “Zat” serial in mid-January

After postponing the serial more than once for different reasons, the director Kamlah Abu Zekri decided to start filming “Zat” serial in mid-January.It was scheduled to begin filming the serial few months ago, that was set within “15 episodes” since “23rd of July” revolution until late 2010, and shows in April 2012, but the uprising of January revolution led the writer Mariam Naoum to re-write the script again to formulate its events to “30 episodes”, and take into consideration more social pressure that produced the revolution till the events end in its new version.After the team decided to start filming in the fourth quarter of this year, the serial star Nelly Karim’s pregnancy and her need for rest after having her forth baby made them postponed the serial again to a new date early next year, and that date is not to be delayed due to the desire of Gabi Khoury the producer to display it next Ramadan.“Zat” serial is taken from a novel that has the same name for the novelist Sanae Allah Ibrahim. Starring with Nelly Karim; Bassem Samra, Hani Adel, Nahed Sibai, Ahmed Kamal, Khaled Sarhan and other artists.
