Hani Salama is preparing to become a monk in January

After delaying filming for more than a year, working team of “The Monk” film decided to start shooting the first scene in January after the stabilization on the rest of the actors and inspecting the archaeological locations that will take place during the events.The story is about a young man who was exposed to violent emotional crisis, leading him to monasticism, and reviews through that the psychological configuration of the monk personality, the spiritual and humanity aspects and his relationship to his Creator.The filmmakers settled on St. Catherine monastery for most of the events, as well as some other archaeological sites, and a few scenes will be filmed in Cairo.According to what the author Medhat El-Adl told the Middle East press agency, that this work does not address the sensitive aspects of Christianity at all, and that his attention is only focused on the humanitarian aspect of the experience and character of the monk.“The Monk” is written by Medhat El-Adl, directed by Ahmed Nader Galal, and starring Hani Salama who is currently preparing for his role after he finished filming “True One” movie and the rest of the movie actors are being agreed with.
