Director Heba Youssry: “Setto – Zad” movie is a special vision towards her grandmother the singer Shahrazad

Director Heba Youssry returned to Egypt after participating in Dubai International Film Festival with “Setto Zad – First Love” long documentary movie, dealt with her own vision of her grandmother the singer Shahrazad, who was famous last century in the fifties, the critics described her voice as one of a kind.She has confirmed that the movie is far away from the idea of Shahrazad’s history plants or documentary, but is simply taking an art form as the granddaughter of her grandmother biography and how she had seen her from her own perspective; she indicated that art is the hidden hero in all this because she wanted to present something different.The film is produced by Marianne Khoury, as an extension of her project to present a different way of biographical documentary, a project that she started among the series of films under “Women Pioneers” project.It is expected to take part in the coming period of international and Arab festivals, especially as it is the first long documentary for Heba, after her two movies “Career is a Woman” and “Another Love”, as part of her Film Institute graduation project, which succeeded and achieved many awards when they were presented.
