Hend Sabry publishes the removed scenes from the movie “Asmaa”

Actress Hend Sabry posted 6 removed scenes from her movie “Asmaa” today on her fan page on face book. The scenes all started with the statement that said “deleted scenes for technical considerations related to the duration of the film”.Each scene displays a story told by an HIV positive person where he is recorded in a session amongst other people talking about his experience with the disease. Each scene also ended with the statement “inspired by real events”. The movie is a real story of a woman called Asmaa who suffers HIV positive, in the movie Asmaa portrays her story and how society rejects her because of her disease. The movie stars Hend Sabry, Maged El Kadawani, Sayed Ragab, Hany Adel, Botros Ghali and Ahmed Kamal. The movie is directed and written by Amr Salama.The movie had been displayed in several festivals and won many awards, where actor Maged El Kadawani received an award for best actor from Abu Dhabi cinema festival, and in the same festival Amr Salama won best Arabic director award. The movie itself received special praise from Wahran Arabic Film Festival.
