Eman El Bahr Darwish denies his knowledge of the series “Al Sayed Al Badawi”

Iman El Bahr Darwish in an interview with stated that he is currently preparing for his series “Ahl El hawa” where he will impersonate his grandfather’s character the late sheikh Sayed Darwish.Script writer Mahfouz Abdel Rahman is still writing the script. Darwish added that the reason behind the delay of the series is the current situation in Egypt. The series portrays the relationship between the infamous poet Bairam El Tonsy and his relationship with the legendary musician Sayed Darwish and other celebrities during that period. The series is directed by Ismail Abdel Hafez and it stars Tawfik Abdel Hamid playing the role of Bairam El Tonsy, Nermin El Feky and Ahmed Khalil.When Darwish was asked about the new series “Al Sayed Al Badawi” for director Rabab Hussein, he replied that he is not aware of such series and knows nothing about it. Darwish’s most recent series was “Al imam Al Shafie” in 2007 which depicted the biography of the late imam.
