After the smashing success of the 3D movie “Hugo” for director Martin Scorsese, the director decided to produce his next 2 movies in exactly the same technique. The first movie Scorsese considered was “Silence” that takes place in Japan in the 17th century, where 3 monks go on a journey of faith to Japan to find out why a Christian missionary converted to Buddhism. As for the other movie Scorsese is considering to present in 3D, it is called “Sinatra” portraying the biography of the infamous Frank Sinatra, working together for the 5th time with his favorite actor Leonardo Di Caprio. In an interview with the magazine “Variety” Scorsese was asked whether he is contemplating using 3D in both his upcoming movies. Scorsese simply answered by saying that it is an acceptable possibility, the question here is whether the 3D will add to my movies or not. On another note Scorsese has nominated actor Daniel Day Lewis and Benicio Del Toro for his movie “Silence”. The movie is scheduled to play in theaters by the end of 2013.
