Unfortunately, the famous novelist Ibraheem El Aslan has just farewelled life today at his home at El Mokattam, at the age of 77 years old.The funeral will be held tomorrow after El Dohr prayers in Belal Ibn Rabah Mosque at El Mokattam. A number of Egypt's best writers and novelists will be there.Ibraheem El Aslan's most famous publications were “Malek El Hazeen” or “Sad Malek” which was turned into “El Kitkat” movie in 1991 and “Asafeer El Neel” or “The Nile's Birds” which was also turned into a movie in 2010.For info, “Two rooms and a hall” which was published last year was the late writer's last work.
