“Asmaa” and “678” in Palm Springs Festival in California

In its 23rd tournament Palm Springs Festival decided to arrange a special display under the name “Arab Nights”, to celebrate the revolutions that took place in the Middle East in the past year. One of the first Arabic movies that will be displayed in the festival is the movie “Asmaa” for director Amr Salama, starring Hend Sabry and Maged El Kadawani. The movie will be played tomorrow the 10th of January. The other movie is “678” for director Mohamed Diab, that also stars Maged El Kadawani, Nelly Karim and Boshra.As for the non Egyptian movies that will play, there is the Palestinian movie “Habeebi Rasak Kharbana”. This is the first movie film in Gaza since almost a decade and a half. Also playing will be the Algerian Moroccan film “Al Hob Al Kabeer” or “The big love”.
