Animations are the first to be viewed.

The first viewing sessions started for Animation films in the Cairo International Film Festival for Children which is taking place between 23 and 30 March.Dr. Laila Fakhri, director of cartoon department in the High Institute of Cinema; is the head of the animations viewing committee. Forming this committee is Dr. Shaheera Khalil, Dr. Safeya Arafat, Dr. Maysa Saad El Din, director Hassan Abd El Ghani, writer Hussein El Nimer, director Salma Othman, writer and director Salah El Halabi, director Atteya Khairee, director Mariam Abu Ouf and director Violet Fahmi.The festival's management is still receiving films and requests for participation from Egyptian, Arabic and Foreign companies on daily basis.
