Press Conference for Luxor African Film Festival

On Monday 9 February, the press conference for the 1st round of Luxor African Film Festival will be held to announce the events that will take place, according to festival president Sayid Foad. The conference will be held at 5 pm in Alhanajir Center in the Opera house and a big number of artists and critics shall attend.The festival dedicates its 1st round to the late Radwan Al Kashef and shall be showing his genius film "Araq El Balah" which is part of an event called "The Cinema of the South of Egypt" which also includes "The Mummy" by Shadi Suleiman, "Al Tawq wa Eleswera" by Khairy Bishara, "Al Bostaji" by Hussein Kamal and "Al Horoub" by Atef Al Tayib.The judging committee holds within in great artists such as director Mohamed Khan, Tunisian actress Hind Sabri, Mauritanian director Abd El Rahman Siasco, and from Guinea Mama Kita. As for the short documentaries and features, the committee has Egyptian actor Amr Waked, Moroccan critic Mostafa El Namsawi and director Fatna Rehina from Burkina Faso.
