In its 62nd round, the annual Berlin International Film Festival highlighted the documentaries and films related to the Arab Spring. And as advertised earlier, this spring was the main connection between many films, symposiums and meetings.British director, Shawn McAllister, has one of the most important and immediate films that were shown in the festival so far, which is "The Reluctant Revolution" that describes the bloody fall of the dictator of Yemen. The film received wide attention, not for its artistic value, but for its political value that did not get any international attention like the Tunisian or Egyptian revolutions. "The Reluctant Revolution" is a brave documentary filmed in the streets of Yemen and is based on the relationship between McAllister and Yemenite tourist called Qais where they both face many challenges with security there to be able to transmit the truth of what is really happening there. The film was highly appreciated in the festival and it in the symposium that followed it, where the audience was grateful for the experience and for the dangers that faced the team while shooting.
