After winning Best Cinematography in Sundance 2012 Festival, “My Brother the Devil” snatches another award but this time in Berlin International Film Festival. In its 62nd run, Berlin 2012 awarded the British film the Best European Film from the Europa Cinemas Label network. The film which is directed by Sally Al Hosaini, is a tale focusing on Two British Arab brothers in the outskirts of London who are confronted by violence, drugs and gangsters and then shows their struggle to survive in this world. The film is an Egyptian-British production and had five shows in the side-shows of the festival that started in Berlin on 9 February and will end today 19.
