Youssef Chahine's Award given to "Ahad Sokkan Al Madina"

For the 3rd year in a row, Egypt International Films honors graduate students from the Cinema Institute with Director Youssef Chahine Award. This year, 3rd party student Adham Al Sherif has won the 20,000 LE award for his film "Ahad Sokkan Al Madina – A Citizen".The film follows a stray dog in the streets of the down town and uses his life as a metaphor for the Egyptian community problems. The film was highly praised by the students and professors for the way it handled this idea in a totally different and unique way.
