How surprising that although the science fiction series "Terra Nova" is directed by Steven Spielberg, this didn't increase its population , leading Fox company to stop the producing process and tries buying it on another company. The series talks about a future vision where the environmental pollution threatens life on Earth. Scientists send the "Shannons" family back to prehistoric Earth where they join "Terra Nova", a colony with a second chance to build a civilization.According to Hollywood reporter magazine, the series averaged 7.5 million total viewers during its 13 episode, a disappointing number that Fox never expected. Moreover in a survey held to discuss people's reactions, the series wasn't praised neither by the audiences nor through critical articles that mentioned that the film makers concentrated on the techniques leaving aside the strength and quality of the events. As there are other parts of the series, Fox Company decided to sell it to another Producing Company.
