Amir Taema and Anghaam gets honored in the women ceremony.

The United Nations in collaboration with "Care" organization held yesterday a huge celebration in the Egyptian Opera to honor the poet "Amir Taema" and the singer "Anghaam".The General United Nations coordinator has welcomed the honored artists who arrived to the Opera around 12:30, stayed for a while in a special room in order to get prepared for the celebration that started at 1:30 with a speech of head on behalf of the United Nations General Secretary, " Ban Ki-moon". It was followed by a small discussion about the troubles women faces after 25th of January revolution.Afterwards "Basata" musical band presented a number of their own songs followed by another band singing some ancient valuable songs.The second part of the celebration continued with honoring the leading women in the voluntary work field who helped other Egyptian women to regain their social rights in addition to honoring the poet "Amir Taema" and the singer "Anghaam" for helping in composing a song for this special occasion. The responsible of the ceremony has highly recognized the effort of "Amir Taema" in writing and executing the song. She also added that "Taema" has passed the last eighteen days in the studios in order to finish the song on the specific date.More over, the activist George Ishaq handed over the Shield to both artists who were impressed the presence with their song ."Amir" expressed his happiness for joining in the participation of this ceremony even if with a little effort and showing through his song that each woman has a very influencing role in the man's life." Angham" also was happy with the celebration were she expressed her support for women and all her surrounding problems.
