In their hope to help the disaster areas in Japan after one year since the 11 March earthquake hit; Fuji TV and director Ridely Scott are working on a documentary based on real life footage of that day. The film focuses on the effects of this quake and the ecological, economical and humanitarian destructions behind it. It also opens a door to the lives of the Japanese people today and how they have rebuilt their spirit to cope with this enormous tragedy.Scott will start filming the documentary “Japan In a Day” next fall and will be released to TV channels where all its returns will be donated to the victims of this disaster.The latest work by Scott is a sci-fi “Prometheus” and will be premiered on 8 June 2012.
