"The Wolf of Wall Street" is the 5th teaming up work between Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio. This time they get together for the adoption of Jordan Belfort's memoir who is a former stock broker that wrote about his success into becoming a billionaire and eventually getting convicted for money laundering and drug dealing. The preparation for this film had started in 2007, but as both Scorsese and DiCaprio were occupied in other projects, it had to be delayed on several occasions. But finally, Scorsese is setting up a time schedule for shooting the film which will probably take place next summer. For the sake of this wolf, Scorsese had to put aside "Silence" which is an adopted screenplay from the Japanese author Shusako Endo and "Sinatra" which is Frank Sinatra's biography. DiCaprio known to be Scorsese's new male muse, had worked with him before in "Gangs of New York – 2002", "The Aviator – 2004", "The Departed – 2006" and their final film together was "Shutter Island" in 2010.
