Engineer Adel Al Maghraby has finished building a new and complete setting for a realistic Egyptian disctrict for the new series "Khorm Ebra – A needle's hole". This setting which is in Studio Masr is unique and far from the repetitive scenery in the other series. Producer Hesham Shaaban said in a statement from his company that they have started shooting the scenes inside the district which will be finished in three weeks. The first phase of the episodes consists of the life of a leading character "Saeed" played by Amr Saad. "Saeed" is a poor mechanic with a dream of fast wealth and reaching the top no matter what road he rides. He ends up in a series of conflicts and problems because of this dream. Shaaban also said that the title of the series is very appropriate for the issues discussed in it as it monitors the Egyptian community in the last few years and how it has divided into two main classes: The very poor and the very rich.As for the writer Hassan Dahshan, he said that the series discusses of the human's acceptance to his life. It focuses on the poor class where they feel that they see life through a needle's hole. The series also looks at their ability to survive through this vision or if they demand change by crossing through this hole to a better reality. "Khorm Ebra" is directed by Ibrahim Fakhr in his first directing job, and stars next to Amr Saad: Sawsan Badr, Hala Fakher, Edward and Ahmad Seyam.
