"Asmaa" dominates again in Muscat and Freiburg festivals

"Asmaa" continues its trend of winning in Film Festivals; after its recent full house win in the 38th Egyptian Cinema Film Association Festival, including Best picture, Best actress for Hend Sabry, Best Director and Screenwriter for Amr Salama and best camera work by Ahmed Gabr, it continued the dominance by winning Best Arabic Picture critics award in Muscat Film Festival and Audience award in the 26th Freiburg International Film Festival."Asmaa" is a joint production project between Clinic Film and New Century. The movies reveals the story of an AIDS patient and the hard time she gets from her community for her right to treatment. The movie stars Hend Sabry, Maged El Kedwany and Sayed Ragab.
