Nicole Kidman to portray Grace Kelly

The French director, Oliver Dahan, nominated Nicole Kidman to portray Academy award winner Grace Kelly during her days as Princess of Monaco.Grace skyrocketed to stardom during the mid-1940s, especially her work with Alfred Hitchcock, grabbing the Oscar for best actress in 1954 for her role in "The country girl" before she retired and married Prince of Monaco. She then died in 1982.The film shows the era of great conflicts between the French government and and the Principality of Monaco over taxation laws imposed on citizens, until Grace managed to solve the dilemma despite her nearly non-existent political experience back then.Filming for this untitled project is supposed to start at the end of the current year after negotiations with Nicole Kidman are done, to be released in 2014
