Ismailia's Film Red Carpet still welcomes participants.

The 15th Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Short Films is still receiving applications for participations in its events which is taking place on 23 June 2012. The entry deadline is the 1st May. Held every year in Ismailia, the festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture and the National Center for Cinema. The films will be showing not only in the Ismailia Cultural Palace, but also in cafes, schools, social clubs and different cultural centers in the cities around Ismailia. Cinematic critic Amir Al Omari was authorized by the Egyptian Minister of Culture Dr. Shaker Abd El Hamid to be president of the festival and will be in charge of all artistic, technical and executing elements of the festival.
