In continuance to the series of movies about the epic era of movie making between 1940s and 1960s, like "My week with Marilyn" last year and "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho" in production, Tom hanks soon will portray the one and only Walt Disney.Tentative title for the movie is "Saving Mr Banks". Negotiations are still going between Tom Hanks and Walt Disney productions about how to bring this project to light.The movie will discuss the making of one of Disney's classics "Mary Poppins", and how Walt Disney struggled to convince author P.L. Travers to turn her novel to a movie. It took him 14 years to do so.Emma Thompson will be playing Travers, after Meryl Streep disclaimed from accepting the role.Mary Poppins is a 5 academy award winner movie out of 13 nominations, including best leading actress award to Julie Andrews.
