"Khalty Safeya W Al Dair" film is searching for funding.

Director Asmaa El Bakry stated to that she is searching for investing for her new film "Khalty Safeya W Al Dair – My Aunt Safey & the Monastery" which is adapted from a novel by the big author Bahaa Taher and was produced as a TV series directed by Ismail Abd El Hafeth in 1995.Asmaa said that she has presented her project to the ex-Minister of Culture Farouq Hosni and he in return presented it to the cinematic critic Ali Abu Shady, president of the National Festival for Egyptian Cinema. Abu Shady did not approve of the film even though the script was approved by the TV control division. Asmaa was asked if she is been knocking on producers' doors, so she replied sarcastically" whom shall go to? El Sobki?! I know what kinds of film he makes and he will not accept to do mine!" On the other hand, Asmaa is working on another grand project that she was discreet about but is also hunting for production.
