90 Films in competition at the Saudi Film Festival

Cinematic director Mamdouh Salem, manager of the 1st Saudi Film Festival, announced that the door for applications has closed and they have received requests from 90 films for participation. He expressed his happiness for reaching this large number of films and said that festival in its first round is considered a huge opportunity for creative filmmakers in Saudi whether Saudis or residents to compete in the categories of Long Feature Films, Short Feature Films, Documentaries and Animations.Salem mentioned that Rotana President Turky Al Shabana had spent great efforts to achieve the goals of the festival and to care for the young generation of filmmakers as they are considered the pole for success in the future. He also added that they will do their best to polish their talent and support them completely.
