Television icon Dick Clark passed away

82 year old American producer and broadcaster Richard Wagstaff "Dick Clark" passed away yesterday in his house in Los Angeles as a result of a heart attack.It was reported that Dick went to hospital to undergo a simple operation; however, he later had a heart attack that led to his death.The death of such influential icon in the history of American television, was met by nothing but grief that even Barack Obama expressed in his public statement.Dick had started working for TV in late 50s, presenting iconic programs such as "American BandStand" and "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve".He was also the owner of "Dick Clark Productions" that brings to us Golden Globe Awards and American Music Awards every single year.
