If it's spring, then it's time for the San Francisco International Film Festival that takes place every year in California, USA. The festival started its 55th edition today Thursday at the Castro theatre with over 150 films participating.The French film "Farewell, My Queen" will be the opening film tonight and it stars Diane Kruger as "Marie Antoinette" during the final days of the French revolution. The festival will start by showing five films tomorrow Friday. The first will be the Iranian "Goodbye" which participated in Cannes, the American film "Robot and Frank" which stars Frank Langella and Susan Saranadon, the Portuguese film " Palácios de Pena", Korean film "The Day He Arrives" and finally "Bonsai" from Chile. The festival will last until the 3rd of May and is presenting the Founder's Directing Award of Irving M. Levin to the director Kenneth Branagh.
