San Francisco Film Festival honors Judy Davis

The 55th San Francisco Film Festival is paying tribute to the talented Australian actress Judy Davis by presenting her with the Peter J. Owens award. This award is presented every year to actors whose work has demonstrated excellence and honesty. The awarding ceremony will start with a clip of her films, an interview with her on Castro Theater followed by a screening of her film "The Eye of The Storm".Davis has been nominated for two Oscars; the first in 1984 for Best Actress in "A Passage to India" and the second in 1992 as Best Supporting Actress in "Husbands and Wives".Davis' latest film is with Woody Allen in "To Rome With Love" whom she's worked with in many of her greatest films but had stopped for the last six years.
