Julianne Moore to play Carrie's mother

Julianne Moore could be playing the mother in the remake for the 1967 Brian De Palma's classic "Carrie". The mother's character is really important as she was the main trigger for the catastrophic end for Carrie the freaky girl.Kimberly Peirce will be redirecting the Stephen King's novel in 2013. She recommended Julianne Moore to play the commanding mother.The story is about Carrie, the pariah who everyone makes fun of, that later discovers her telekinesis abilities that she uses to take revenge from all who hurt her, including her mother.Comic artist Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa wrote the script that gives a whole new vision for the film. The film will be released 15th of March 2013.
