Essam Al Shawali: I’m in “Aziz Dream” to explore new territories.

Sports commentator Essam Al Shawali spoke to the Tunisian radio paper about his participation in the new film “Helm Aziz – Aziz Dream” and said that it was a difficult role for him to act as a commentator with a ready script ready for him. In the role he had to commit to the rules put by the director whereas in his job, he is free to comment on the matches and his words are born at the moment. But he added that director Amr Arafa which recommended him for the role has allowed him to improvise in a few dialogues. El Shawali was excited to do the role of a sports commentator on a match where the lead actor dreams he is in. He explained that his adventurous character was behind his enthusiasm towards the role as he enjoys discovering new areas and go through new experiences. He also added that he has great respect for Amr Arafa and he sees valuable principles in his films like his stand against normalization with Israel in “Al Safara Fe Al Amara”.“Helm Aziz” is written by Nader Salah El Din, produced and distributed by Arab Cinema Co, and stars Ahmed Ezz, Sherif Mounir, May Kassab, Salah Abdallah and Mohamed Emam.
