Penelope Cruz may join her husband in "The Counselor"

Penelope Cruz is the latest name to be nominated for the star-packed "The Counselor", after it was confirmed that Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem will star in the film, and rumors about Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman to join as well.The film is about a counselor who uses his legal experience to work as a drug dealer, but then gets in way over his head.Brad Pitt will play a friend of Fassbender´s, the main character, while Javier will play a drug dealer. Most likely, Penelope will replace Natalie as the lead female role, while Angelina will get a small role in case she joined.IIf all stars align, then this will mark the first meeting for Pitt and Jolie since their getting together in "Mr & Mrs Smith" in 2005, as well as the first for married couple Javier and Penelope since their meeting in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" in 2007.Cameras will start rolling next June for the film to hit theaters in the summer of 2013.
