Rooney Mara to replace Carey Mulligan in Spike Jonze's film

Director Spike Jonze nominated Academy Award nominee for best actress this year and rising star, Rooney Mara, for his new film after being turned down by Carey Mulligan.The plot of the film is not yet complete. It will basically be a sci-fi comedy about a man who falls in love with an electronic voice on his phone, which makes him pursue the girl behind it.This will be Jonze's return after a 3 year hiatus, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and Rooney Mara in case she accepted the role.Carey is currently involved in 2 projects; the first is a Coen brothers' film entitled "Inside Llewyn Davis", and the other one a Baz Luhrmann film entitled "The Great Gatsby" opposite Leonardo Di Caprio.
