All Robert Rodriguez films have been infamous for its exaggerated cheap action, like the B-movies of the 70s and 80s. In 2007, Rodriguez presented "Grindhouse" in a joint production with Quentin Tarantino with whom he shares the same mentality and culture. This was like a celebration for the fan base for this type of films.3 years later, Rodriguez presented "Machete", and with it increasing the dose of violence, sexuality and cheap cinema in a film that cherishes the B-movies and takes the experience to a whole new level.Robert De Niro appeared in "Machete", and for the next part "Machete Kills" Rodriguez is negotiating with Mel Gibson and Michelle Williams; however, their participation is highly unlikely. In this part Machete goes on another adventure in Mexico to fight a drug dealer. The film is starring Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan. It will hit theaters in 2013.
