"Khorm Ebra" starts filming exterior scenes in Alexandria

Amr Saad and director Ibrahim Fakhr agreed to film the exterior scenes of the series “Khorm Ebra” or “Eye of a needle” in Alexandria before the summer vacation to avoid the season’s crowdedness. Actors participating in the scenes are Ahmed Khalil, Ramy Gheit, Riham Amin, Merihan and Edward.Hassaan Dahshan, screenwriter, stated that those scenes will only take 5 days, between the Alexandria ridge, beaches and old streets. Also scenes in entrances of residential buildings of characters in the series; Galila’s apartment being the most notable, a single parent who strives to take care of her children played by Hala Fakher. They will later return to King Toot studios in Shubrament to film interior scenes of the apartment.Hassaan added that they finished 7 hours out of 20 of filming. He added that he has only 6 episodes left to write after he finished 24.The series is starring Sawsan Badr, Hala Fakher, Ahmed Rateb, Hussam Dagher, Ahmed Seyam, Mohsen Mansour, Hussam Shaaban and Rehab El Gamal.The series tells the story of a young mechanic who is sick of his job so he quits and decides to pursue his dreams, to no avail.
