After the huge success of his first 3D movie “Hugo”; which won 5 Oscar awards; Martin Scorsese said that he wished he could make all his movies using the same technology.Scorsese explained in a symposium he ran in CinemaCon that there is a different flavour in 3D movie pictures, it takes you to a new world, and keeps you there for a while, and it’s a good place to stay.Scorsese added that all his movies; including his hit works “Raging Bull” and “Taxi Driver”; would’ve been better and deeper if presented in that technology. When asked about his enthusiasm, Scorsese said that there are three aspects to the creation of a different world: Sound, colours and depth. When you present that in the best picture, the viewer gets more involved, this is what the 3D technology provides.Scorsese is currently preparing for his new movie “The Wolf of Wall Street”, starring Leonardo Di Caprio, which will presumably be presented in 3D in light of this statement.
