"Sea Shadow" in Egypt on the 13th of May

Egyptian Film Critics association invited Emirati director Nawaf El-Genahy to show his film "Thel El Bahr" or "Sea Shadow" in the Cultural Center in Sherif street on Sunday. This marks the first showing for the film in Egypt, with free admission to the general crowd.The film got good reactions in the festivals it participated in such as Abu Dhabi International Film Festival and Palm Springs Festival in The States. Also film critics gave it rave reviews, especially Egyptian film critic Samir Farid who described Nawaf as one of the pioneers in Emirati cinema.The film tells the story of a boy and girl who fall in love in a conservative society.
