"Dark Shadows" premiered yesterday Tuesday 7 May in Los Angeles with lead actor Johnny Depp attending. Next to him was director Tim Burton and stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green and Jackie Earle Haley.Lead actress and Burton's wife Helena Bonham Carter was absent as she is busy shooting "Les Miserables" with director Tom Hooper."Dark Shadows" is to hit theaters on 11 May and is expected to be a strong competitor to "The Avengers". It revolves around the rich and powerful "Barnabas" played by Depp, who lived in the 18th century who breaks the heart of an evil witch Angelique that cursed him by turning him into a vampire and burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas returns to his village and tries to live with the new generation of his family.
