Hassan Essery received no murder or abduction threats as reported

Saudi star Hassan Essery started a new project in which he plays Dr. Tarek Habib, the person who stirred controversy between the North and the South of Saudi Arabia when he questioned their loyalty to the country.Many reports state that he would portray many of Dr. Tarek's controversial criticisms and how they could create more trouble. He also will shed some light on many people that offends Saudi Arabia without being punished.It was also reported that Hassan never received any murder or abduction threats should he decide to continue portraying the character, assuring that he will also show ordinary people's opinions on screen in one of the episodes.Many people tried to talk Hassan out of playing the character because of the trouble it could cause to no avail, as he is really committed to the role and has already finished filming great parts of the project, and will air it on channel 1 on Saudi TV, which is expected to stir lots of controversy.
