Tommy Lee Jones praised Daniel Day-Lewis's portrayal of Abraham Lincoln in the film they currently co-star in directed by Steven Spielberg.The film shows the last few months of Abe's life. Spielberg considers those months what made Abe the great president he was, as he fought a lot with the Parliament and the governing council, before he could put constitutional laws that Invalidates slavery, and began a new era of American history.Tommy added that Daniel has revived the president again, and presents an inspiring image we've only witnessed in photos. Also, he assured Daniel read lots of books and psychological reports about Abe in order to study him well and be able to portray him.Tommy plays Theodore Stevens, chairman of Science and Transportation in The Republican party during Abe's tenure. He was a supporter of Abe's invalidation of slavery and promoting equality among citizens.The film is also starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jackie Earle Hale, Sally Field and David Strathairn, set for release next December.
