Robert Pattinson claims to play an unusual character in "Cosmopolis"

Press conference for the film "Cosmopolis" was held today in the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival. In attendance were director David Cronenberg along with Robert Pattinson, Paul Giamatti and Sarah Gadon.Cronenberg talked about the film and how difficult it was, especially the last 22 minutes which he considered more of a play or a short film included. He assured that his film recalls capitalism and shows the statement of Carl Marcus.Robert talked about Cronenberg and how detail oriented he is. He said the difference between him and other directors is that he listens to them more than he gives orders.He talked about the character he plays saying it is really unusual and he could never have prepared for it. He spent 15 days in his hotel room not knowing where to start, then he went to Cronenberg for help.He added that the reason he accepted the role is that the scirpt had a musical side to it.
