Wafaa El-Toukhy passed away

Yesterday, 3rd of June, the great writer Wafaa El-Toukhy departed this world after a long struggle with disease.The funeral took place today in El-Sherbiny mosque in Nasr City after El Duhr prayer.She has only one series to her record which is "Boshra Sara" that was played by Mervat Amin, while she had just finished writing her new series "El ghayeb hegetoh maah".Wafaa El-Toukhy is the sister of writer Mahmoud El-Toukhy, mother of director Karim Medhat and Ahmed Bedir's sister in law.
