Mads Mikkelsen is the next Hannibal Lecter

NBC network has chosen the best actor in Cannes Festival Mads Mikkelsen, also rumored to participate in Thor 2, to star in their next series "Hannibal", based on the series of novels by Thomas Harris which was presented for cinema before played by Anthony Hopkins in the trilogy "Silence of the lambs", "Hannibal" and "Red dragon".Mads will play Hannibal Lecter, the psychologist turned serial killer, while detective Will Graham will be played by Hugh Dancy. Filming will start next week.
