Magdy Ahmed Aly leads a symposium to launch National Observatory to defend freedoms

Next Sunday, the 10th of June, director Magdy Ahmed Aly will administrate a symposium to launch the National Observatory for the defense of rights and freedoms of thought and creativity in cooperation with National Committee for defense of rights and freedoms of thoughts and creativity and Supreme Council of culture.The symposium will be attended by a huge number of Egyptian stars and intellects including Dr. Hussam Eissa and director Dawod Abdel Sayed.A number of stars and intellects, such as Dawood Abdel Sayed, poet Sayed Hegab, writer Youssef El-Qaeed and many others, signed a statement to the Secretary of Supreme Council of Culture urging it to host meetings and activities of the committee and observatory as well as give them support and care.The national committee was established as a result of the dangers facing creativity in art and literature recently.
