The Egyptian Creativity Front is against the Islamic Power dominating over the constitution founding committee.

The Egyptian Creativity Front called for a press conference yesterday evening at the Actors Syndicate Club with a large number of media coverage to declare their objection over the organizational plan on the Founding Committee of the Egyptian Constitution. With the attendance of director Khaled Youssef, producer Mohamed El Adl, actor Sameh El Seraity, Authors Union president Mohamed Salmawy, Dr. Alaa Al Aswany, journalist Hamdy Qandeel, actor Sabry Fawaz, Head of Fine Arts Syndicate Hamdy Abu El Maaty, Head of Athletes Synidate Mosaad Oweis and Fawzi Al Awamry on behalf of the Cinematographers Syndicate.The Front members have released a statement to object on the Islamic Powers and Unions taking over the Founding Committee and considered excluding Egypt's artists from the committee a step towards marginalization the Egyptian awareness and creativity. They have declared that they will fight this procedure in all ways possible starting with a sit-on in front of the Egyptian Parliament or they will go on food strike. Director Khaled Youssef announced that he will hand over this statement to the Parliament President Saad Al Katatny today afternoon.
